Our Mission

Rooted in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius Loyola and in the Catholic tradition, our ministry is open to all who seek God in their lives. We accompany people from many walks of life, that they may be more attentive to God’s activity and more responsive to the call to work toward the greater glory of God. Our ministry follows the spiritual path laid out by Ignatius as a way of discerning God’s presence in our everyday lives.

Our Spiritual Directors

Our spiritual directors are trained listeners who begin the retreat by focusing attention on the person’s unique experience of God. Following the principles of the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius Loyola, they help retreatants to notice, savor and respond to the movements of God’s Spirit in their own life-experience and prayer. God is the real director of the retreat. Our spiritual directors help retreatants to be attentive to what God is doing in their lives in the hope of deepening that primary love relationship. Our resident directors are joined by guest directors who are dedicated to this ministry and are carefully chosen for their abilities to work thoughtfully and sensitively with retreatants. Our staff is also available on a limited basis for off-site retreats, workshops and training programs in a variety of settings.
